I like helping brands
tell their story.
Jake Blumenau has created award-winning work for clients in a variety of creative mediums. Currently a creative director at GoodKid, he helps steer work on Xfinity.
He cut his teeth at BBDO NY, launching the acclaimed Lowe's "Never Stop Improving" campaign — including the How-to Tap-Thru Vines — and creating well-known work for FedEx, Red Stripe, GE and AT&T. At Publicis Worldwide in New York, he launched global campaigns and created interactive brand experiences for HP Enterprise and Heineken.
He believes everyone should feel part of the creative process, and the work is better when we all have fun making it.

“He knows how to
make everyone feel like
part the team.”
“Jake is a genuine, smart and fun character who above all else is a solid team player. He is a strong conceptual thinker and a good listener. He knows how to make everyone feel like part of the process and the team. Jake fires off solid creative concepts and stays humble about them. He is cool, even during the stressful moments, and doesn’t take stuff personally. Jake will not only make the work better, he will also make your creative team healthier by putting smiles on everyone’s faces. He is a great person.”

Group Creative Director, Media Arts Lab
“His incredible sense
of detail adds those final
touches that elevate the
work from good to great.”
“Jake’s sensibilities are always spot on when it comes to the work. His incredible sense of detail adds those final touches that elevate the work from good to great. His enthusiasm to find new opportunities with the materials we have on any given project creates an atmosphere of always developing new ideas and always trying to get more bang for the buck. Which is crucial in today’s world of lower budgets and higher expectations.”
- Anthony Garetti
Executive Producer, Publicis NY
“The rapport Jake has
with all levels of
clients is impressive”
“Jake's strong and unifying voice is the steady for all projects. He is a great team player and leader. Always making sure his partners' and lower level creatives' voices are heard in client meetings and vendor reviews. Clients trust him- on other brands client reviews are often one-sided and feedback isn't always discussed- the rapport Jake has with all levels of clients on HPE is impressive. They really listen when Jake pushed for a creative decision. Jake exceeds his own position's responsibilities to make sure we end up with the best possible product- this often means flexing his own editing/animation/music skills (on his own time in the late and early hours) as to not rely on vendors' time alone.”

“One of the nicest people
in the company. He makes the
team and the clients happy”
“It’s a huge pleasure to work with Jake. He is a great leader and a mentor. He provides clear view and encourages team to reach further. He always brings powerful solutions when team wrestles with challenges. As we all face a global phenomenon, he’s been guiding the team and helping the clients to go forward through this long tunnel together. Also, he is one of the nicest people in the company. He makes the team and the clients happy and always brings positive energy to the meetings.”
- Jae Sung Jung

“Clients absolutely loved
the creative, but also
his enthusiasm”
“Jake is extremely passionate and takes great pride in his work. He is always opened to suggestions and is easy to work with. He is an integral part of the creative team and clearly expresses his ideas. The clients absolutely loved the creative, but also his enthusiasm.”
- Agnes Iannone

“He's able to identify
big opportunities
in little briefs”
“He's able to balance identifying big opportunities in little briefs that get clients and his team excited and being mindful of the details when it comes to executions. He's a builder, a great team partner and I hope our paths cross again and we get the opportunity to work together again.”
- Emily Canan
